A strong Field expected at QB with Northwood's Ricky Bautista, Servites Cody Pittman and Eastvale Roosevel'ts Aaron Crone Participating. Ricky Bautista who had a strong showing at the ESPN Rise NFTC already possesses a strong and accurate arm, can make all the throws and reads the Field very well. He threw for nearly 2800yds. and led his team to the CIF Finals. Cody Pittman who also excelled at the ESPN Rise NFTC led his Friars to the State Championship as a First year Starter. Cody Pittman is a very underrated Passer who throws an excellent Deep ball. A Dual threat QB who always makes the right decision and can hurt you with both his feet and arm. Cody Pittman is steadily climbing up on the radar and is receiving College Interest. A Born Leader, Cody Pittman will be given more responsibility in the passing game in 2011. Aaron Crone will be a three-year Varsity Starter for Eastvale Roosevelt HS he has a lot of experience and has College level arm strength. Crone threw for 2500 yards with 20TDs and is one of the Top QB's from the Inland Empire. Jake Dashnaw out of Woodland Hills Taft HS the sleeper of the group is a much heralded QB for the 2013 Class and will also be present to show his skills.
Two-way Players Szongaia Brown La Jolla HS and Freddie Mora Santa Ana Mater Dei Headline the Running backs. Szongaia Brown the Cathedral HS transfer is receiving a lot of College interest and also plays Wide Receiver. Freddie Mora will be all over the Field for the Monarchs at Running Back, Defensive Back, and also Special Teams. At Wide Receiver Helix HS Jimmy Pruitt a highly recruited two–way player for the Highlanders also had five Interceptions last Season. Brandon Zuidema Eastvale Roosevelt is 6' 4" and 200lbs had 30 Catches and 9 td's last season will be participating as well.
There will be Talent present on the Defensive side of the ball as a strong Field of Linebackers will be in attendance. Josh Kilmer of La Jolla HS was a leading Tackler in San Diego County. Kilmer who is gaining a lot of Interest has a nose for the ball and can fill the gaps well. Josh Kilmer also earned post season honors as he was one of the only Juniors to make 1st Team All-League Western Division in San Diego. He is currently being looked at by UCLA, University of Arizona, San Diego State, and Utah. "I enjoy going to camps and combines just to be around football. I'm not one of those guys that tests off the charts. A lot of guys can look good without pads on. I like to see what we can do when we strap it up". Josh Kilmer will be attending the USA Combine on May 22 at Fullerton College along with some friends and other big time players from San Diego Nico Siragusa Jr. OL 6'6 305, SD Mater Dei, Darren Carrington So. WR 6'2 175, Horizon Christian.
In addition Mike Gordon SLB / FB Capistrano Valley High School is a up and coming player to watch for the 2011 season. Gordon's a Very athletic, hard hitting SLB and Running back who possess great Receiving Hands too. He was a Varsity Part Time Starter at WLB and FB for Santa Margarita Catholic High School 2009 season, along with Starting at WLB and FB for The Capo Valley High Cougars, during the 2010 season. Anthony Topete from Santa Ana Mater Dei will also show his skills. Anthony Topete is expected to have a breakout year in 2011 for the Monarchs and is also receiving College interest. Marshaun Daniel Tustin HS is the Sleeper of the Linebackers and should be a top recruit in 2013.
At defensive back look for the Helix HS duo of Cameron Lee and Jimmy Pruitt to Make some noise. Both are two-way players and also highly recruited. Two-way Athlete Nathan Connolly Troy HS plays QB, Safety, Punt Returner and Kick Returner will be on hand. Connolly is a playmaker on both sides of the Football. Look for Logan Bartlett from JSerra HS to have a breakout year in 2011. Logan Bartlett participated in the ESPN Rise NFTC in Norcal last weekend and is looking to build off his performance at the USA Combine Sunday. Logan Bartlett will be a Prospect in 2013.
