Garcia Working Towards Offer

Completely under the radar is Santa Fe Springs (Calif.) St. Paul offensive lineman Cristian Garcia. While he is currently a player that doesn't have any offers, it won't be a surprise to see some come in the near future…

Cristian Garcia isn't afraid of contact and uses his strength really well along the offensive line. He's getting a chance to bolster his skills as well, working out with Primetime Polynesian camp and blocking on a team that features two standout 2014 recruits in Kurt Scoby and Darrell Cloy.

Garcia is earning respect in his own right, however and he's working hard to prove he's worth the offer to all schools.

"My recruitment has been kind of slow since I'm considered an under the radar guy, but UC Davis, San Diego State University and Washington has showed interest," said Garcia. "I have performed well at their camps. I've been to Cal's Junior Day and will be going up to Sacramento State University's Junior Day."

Garcia certainly isn't afraid to put in the work to become better.

"I think I will provide any team a good player that will work hard both on and off of the field," Garcia said. "I always go until I can't go anymore and then once I think I'm done, I'll keep pushing. I bring character with me. I bring a leadership as well. I have attended multiple leadership seminars."

He has a great confidence in himself and it shows. While he doesn't have any offers at the moment, he has set his sights high with who he is interested in.

"I always loved Notre Dame, but now my favorites are Cal, Washington, Stanford and I like San Diego State as well. Because I like the west coast and it's just a couple of hours on a flight or drive to get back home."

Things are just getting started for Garcia, but this won't be the last time you hear his name.
