Villamin Getting Pac-12 Interest

Etiwanda (Calif.) High School wide receiver Jordan Villamin is getting the attention of some Pac 12 schools and is hoping to earn more offers in the near future…

Standing 6-foot-4 and 195 pounds, Jordan Villamin possesses good size for a wide receiver. During his junior year, he caught 27 balls for 594 yards and seven touchdowns. He has good control over his body and works hard to get his yardage.

Currently, he has an offer from Oregon State and the Beavers are pushing the hardest for him.

"Oregon State has been the one recruiting me the hardest," Villamin said. "They said I'm there number one target at wide receiver."

Villamin took an unofficial visit to Oregon State and he came away very impressed.

"I loved it out there. The coaches and players are great. They offered me and everything was great. I could see myself living there."

While Oregon State is pushing hard for him, Villamin is looking for offers from other schools as well.

"Nebraska, Washington, Arizona State and Iowa State, of course, any others would be good also," said Villamin on which schools he's trying to earn offers from.

When asked what he looks for most in a program, Villamin has a precise, but simple list. "Good coaches, nice players, a fun college and a nice campus."

Villamin has been getting some attention, but he's working hard to earn more. He'll get there in the near future if he keeps performing the way he has been.
