Downey (Calif.) receiver Jonathan Swindell, who was invited to play in Sunday's California Classic All-Star Game, recently committed to a program and is beginning to plan his official visits.

"I committed to Tulsa about a month ago. I'm setting up my official and will go on my visit this month," he said.

The 6-foot-3, 200-pound also holds an offer from UNLV, a program that has been showing him interest for a while. Though nothing is planned yet, Swindell says he may also take a visit to the Rebels' campus.

A few other programs have continued to recruit Swindell.

"Arizona has been looking at me at for free safety and San Jose State has been recruiting me pretty hard, too. I'm interested in everybody who is interested in me," he said.

The Wildcats' have recently shown Swindell interest, and he's been talking with his recruiter, receivers coach Tony Dews, on a consistent basis.

"They just started showing me some love. The coach said that if they do offer me, it will be at free safety, so we'll see what happens," he said.

Swindell is waiting to see if either San Jose State or Arizona offer and will plan visits to those programs accordingly.
