2013 Passing Down Elite 7-on-7 Challenge

FRESNO, CA – Passing Down will kick off its fourth annual Elite 7-on-7 Challenge March 17 in Livermore. It will be the first of three regional tournaments that will culminate with the 2013 Best of the West Championship…

The Passing Down 7-on-7 Challenge is the first and only California-based passing tournament to host regional tournaments up and down the Golden State showcasing some of the top prospects in the nation.

PD will kick off its fourth year with three regional tournaments and culminate with the Best of the West Championship.

Passing Down Elite 7-on-7 Challenge Regional Sites

Northern California Regional
March 17 Robertson Sports Park*, Livermore

Southern California Regional
April 7 Ralph M. Lewis Sports Park*, Fontana

Central California Regional
April 14 Bartholomew Sports Complex*, Elk Grove

*all sites feature artificial playing surfaces

Each single elimination regional tournament features a maximum of 12 teams. The top finishers in each regional will be invited to compete in the Best of the Championship (time/site TBD).

Team Pro Sport

Team Pro Sport won its second Passing Down Best of the West Championship last May in Santa Maria. The San Jose based squad was led by Vanderbilt-bound quarterback K.J. Carta-Samuels, who was the 2012 Passing Down BOTW MVP.

The junior signal caller is one of many of the top Golden State prospects to have competed in the most distinctive 7-on-7 tournament since 2010.
