From the DJ calling out the top plays to the LIVE updates to the exclusive coverage, Passing Down 7v7 tournaments are synonymous with top level exposure and competition for prospective student athletes.

The last four years, Passing Down has hosted its Elite 7-on-7 Challenge regional tournaments up and down the Golden State culminating with the championship tournament to crown the Best of the West. The 2013 season featured 36 teams vying for 12 spots in the BOTW Finals that eventually saw Team Body by Tra finish atop.

Now, Passing Down is bringing its brand to the varsity ranks.

For the first time in its seven-year history, it will host a 7v7 tournament exclusive to Central Section schools that will feature as many as 48 teams. The one-day extravaganza will take place Saturday, June 22 at Mount Whitney High School in Visalia.

The Central Section spans from Chowchilla in the North to Bakersfield in the South encompassing much of the San Joaquin Valley. With nearly 100 schools, it features some of the best high school programs and top prospects in the Golden State, including California's top prospect Michiah Quick out of Fresno (Calif.) Central East.
