Rubio Long Snapping GA Nike SummerCamp Recap

Recapping the Rubio Long Snapping GA Nike Summer Camp...

Long Snappers came out to GA to attend the Nike GA Summer Camp on July 17th  from Al, MS, GA, TN, VA and FL to get the best instruction and exposure in the country for Long Snappers. Long Snappers, and their parents/guardians, were instructed on the field, had a film and classroom session, a recruiting seminar and ended the day with a competition with Rubio present and running the camp. Each Long Snapper was filmed and will have a player profile provided for them on

Winner: Connor Kubala. Thrived under pressure and showed great accuracy in the finals. Snapping with a lot of confidence and wasn't going to be stopped. Body is looking good and he showed great consistency.

Top 2014…
Alan Lucy – Just flat out great. Rips the ball back to the punter. He is aggressive. Body is looking good and he is moving well on his feet. Easy pick for a D1 school
Casey Wilson – Easily the smoothest Long Snapper in the country. Built well and is snapping with a lot of confidence. He is ready.
Davis Winkie – Massive man the whips the ball back to the punter. He is getting more consistent and easily snaps a D1 ball.
Andrew Ashe - Has the ability to be one of the best out there. Great frame and good form
John Morrison – Great form and intelligence. Studies the snap. Shows great speed at times.
Damian Brinson - Solid frame, great attitude. Has the ability to snap the ball at D1 speeds. Consistency will be key. Improving nicely.

Blake Ferguson - Dominant all day long in GA. Excellent frame and tremendous form. He snaps a D1 ball right now. Very, very consistent.

John Baugus – He was outstanding all day. Big frame and he is snapping with confidence.
Drew McCracken - Was very impressive in GA. Lean and muscular build with good form. Liked what I saw from Drew.
Steven Nixon - Shows waves of brilliance and is right on the cusp of greatness.
Ryan Parris - Just continues to improve with each outing. Body is looking good and he is snapping very well.

2016 and Beyond
Josh Brady - Excellent frame and he is starting to use it. Consistency will be the key to his dominance. Excellent attitude and strength.
Scott Meyer - Is starting to really come into his own and feel comfortable out on the field. Has all the tools to dominate.

Quentin Skinner - This 2019 Long Snapper would be in the top 5 in the class of 2016. He is that good. He is built like a beast already and snaps with exceptional form. He has the ability to be one of the greats if he continues to fine tune his form and work the right way.
