ELK GROVE, Calif. -- Fresno (Calif.) Edison star snares a Nevada offer, and talks growing Pac-12 interest.

ELK GROVE, Calif. -- Tyler Horton and his 3.67 GPA are keeping busy this spring. After a trip to Las Vegas for the Pylon Elite 7on7 event in March, Horton and his DB Guru 7on7 team also participated in the Passing Down Central California Regional in Elk Grove, Calif., last week, and he took some time to give a bit of a recruiting update.

"Right now, everything's still good. Right after Vegas, I got an offer from Nevada," Horton said. "I've been talking to Stanford a lot. Utah, Washington, Oregon and Oregon State."

The Cardinal are new in Horton's recruitment, and want to see the three-star 2015 cornerback in person very soon. The Beavers, Huskies and Washington State are all going to come by and check out the Fresno (Calif.) Edison star during the spring evaluation period.

Oregon, though, is still Horton's favored suitor, as he wore a Ducks headband during last Sunday's Passing Down tournament.

"I've been talking to their DB coach, and he talked to me about my grades and everything and told me they were good, so he's looking forward to seeing me," Horton said.

Oregon will come down to see Horton in May.

Before then, Hortin expects to check out the Wolf Pack on their Junior Day in a week.
