Oakland (Calif.) Bishop O'Dowd linebacker Nathan Shepherd talks with Scout at The Opening Regional in Oakland

EL SOBRANTE, Calif. -- With a linebacker tradition that includes Camilo Eifler and Hardy Nickerson, Bishop O'Dowd has another 'backer who's drawing attention this year.

Offers have started to roll in for Oakland (Calif.) Bishop O'Dowd linebacker Nathan Shepherd, who scored one from Columbia, and then quickly another from San Diego. Education is big for Shepherd, who made a spring swing of the Ivy League.

The versatile linebacker -- who can play in the middle and on the outside -- played defensive end last season. He tallied 22 tackles, 5.0 tackles for loss and 2.0 sacks.

Air ForceWyoming and Montana may come calling with offers, and Illinois -- with former Dragons head coach Hardy Nickerson, Sr., on staff -- may be taking a look soon, as well. Find out more about him in the video above.
