DLS, Poly roll on; other Friday scores

The hype for the big game should start building throughout the weekend; both teams coming in healthy and apparently playing well

National No. 1 De La Salle of Concord rolled to a 42-0 win Friday night against St. Francis of Mountain View. It was the 116th straight win for the Spartans, a national record they will put on the line next Saturday at Veterans Stadium in Long Beach against No. 2 Long Beach Poly.

The Jackrabbits ventured to Fontana for their third game and crushed host Fontana, 70-0.

Both first-string defenses for De La Salle and Long Beach Poly have not allowed a point in their first three games.
