Corona Centennial will have a daunting offensive line this year and Irvin Stevens is a big reason why.
He combines with teammate Devin Head to form one of the best units in California for next season.
Irvin attended the small Nike Camp at USC a couple of weeks ago and has loads of interest in the Trojans.
"I like USC, of course," said Stevens. "Their program is just great. I went to one of their games and really liked it. I like the way they switch up their runners and the way they handle their depth at 'SC."
UCLA is also under strong consideration in his mind.
"They haven't had the strong talent that they used to have, but they have a strong coaching staff now. I went to one of their games and it was a great atmosphere."
He plans on attending the Cal camp this summer, and is unsure of other possible plans at this time.
On the field he feels his best attribute is his ability to be a good, and quick study of the other teams defensive sets.
Stevens carries a 3.0 core GPA and will take his SAT on March 27th and ACT on
April 3rd. He would like to major in Criminal Law.
