STATE STAT STANDOUTS (Week of Nov. 9-10)

Rushing Yards

365 - Manase Tonga, Aragon (San Mateo) vs. Hillsdale (San Mateo). Also scored four TDs on 36 carries. Tonga has averaged 181 yards a game this season for Aragon.

354 - Adam Fanelli, Hilmar vs. Livingston. Scored three TDs and topped the 1,000 yard mark for the season in 28-14 victory.

315 - Kenny Simmons, San Diego High vs Crawford (San Diego). Had 26 carries and three TDs in a 48-0 romp.

306 - Lawrence Hollis, Murphy (Los Angeles) vs. Bellarmine-Jefferson (Burbank) in 56-30 win. Also scored four TDs.

303 - Tim Brown, Franklin (Stockton) vs. Edison (Stockton). Scored four TDs from 26, 64, 5 and 65 yards in convincing 28-0 win that put Yellowjackets into CIF Sac-Joaquin Section Div. I playoffs.

297 - Stephen Bradley, Berean Christian (Walnut Creek) vs. Calif. School for the Deaf (Berkeley) on 24 carries. State rushing and scoring leader also scored five TDs as Berean won, 56-6.

296 - Cesar Murillo, Norte Vista (Riverside) vs. Rubidoux (Riverside). Scored two TDs and led Norte Vista into the playoffs with 49-19 win.

277 - Donnie McCleskey, Bishop Amat (La Puente) vs. Alemany (Mission Hills). Had only nine carries but scored four TDs to help Bishop Amat clinch the league title with 62-7 win over Alemany. McCleskey added two more scores, one on a pass catch the other on an interception return.

270 - Zeke Staples, Warren (Downey) vs. Downey. Carried 32 times and scored four TDs in 35-14 victory over crosstown rival.

266 - Derrick Davis, Santa Monica vs. South (Torrance). Also scored four TDs on 26 carries as Vikings routed Spartans, 55-6.

260 - Eric Carrie, Miramonte (Orinda) vs. Las Lomas (Walnut Creek). Also scored three TDs to help Miramonte edge Las Lomas, 48-41.

260 - Ken Stepter, Rancho Verde (Moreno Valley) vs. Hemet. Also scored four TDs in 42-28 win. Stepter leads Riverside County in rushing this season with 1,856 yards.

252 - Jabari Jefferson, Cathedral (Los Angeles) vs. St. Monica (Santa Monica) on 17 carries. Also scored five TDs, all in the first half. Cathedral was victorious, 54-7.

247 - Gabe Camacho, Trona vs. Lucerne Valley. Scored all five of his team's TDs on 28 carries in 35-22 win.

247 - Chase Twedell, Valley Christian (Cerritos) vs. Calvary Chapel (Santa Ana) on 30 carries. Rushed for all three of Valley Christian'sTDs in 21-19 win.

245 - Colin Behring, Monte Vista (Danville) vs. San Ramon Valley (Danville). Carried 31 times in 38-34 victory.

244 - Will Fauls, Homestead (Cupertino) vs. Milpitas in 35-28 loss. Also scored three TDs.

241 - Anthony Reyes, Silver Creek (San Jose) vs. Leland (San Jose). Carried 25 times and had two TDs in 27-9 non-league victory.

239 - Jerrone Garrett, San Joaquin Memorial (Fresno) vs. Sierra (Tollhouse) on 35 carries. Scored 2 TDs from 26 and 63 yards in 26-14 win.

239 - Rick Pearse, Roseville vs. Bear River (Lake of the Pines) on only 14 carries. Also scored three TDs in 28-15 win.

236 - Johnnie Hill, Carlmont (Belmont) vs. Sequoia (Redwood City). Also scored four TDs in 26-26 tie.

236 - Tank Cannon, Lincoln (San Diego) vs Kearny.  Had 27 carries and one TD in a 43-8 victory.

232 - Bryan Harrison, Justin Siena (Napa) vs. Tamalpais (Mill Valley) in 42-0 victory. Also had 19 carries and two rushing TDs.

231 - Jason Bash, Ramona vs. Oceanside. Carried the ball 18 times and had two TDs but Ramona lost 37-20.

230 - Jeremy Konarsis, Riordan (San Francisco) vs. Bellarmine (San Jose) in 45-34 loss. Also scored four TDs.

230 - Tiago Alkana, Army-Navy Academy (Carlsbad) vs Calipatria. Carried 36 times in a 13-6 win.

228 - Jarzzale Beeks, Patrick Henry (San Diego) vs Morse (San Diego). Had 28 carries and three TDs in a 26-20 win.

227 - Chad Collins, Kingsburg vs. Selma in 29-23 loss. Carried 36 times and scored three TDs from 5, 8 and 9 yards.

226 - Lorenzo Bursey, Beverly Hills vs. Hawthorne. Also scored two fourth quarter TDs from 44 and 90 yards to help Beverly Hills slip past Hawthorne, 16-7.

226 - Shomar Thomas, Ribet Academy (Los Angeles) vs. Lutheran (LaVerne) on only 13 carries. Also scored two TDs in 48-21 victory.

226 - Kenny Trevillion, Tokay (Lodi) vs. Lodi. Also scored three TDs on runs of 43, 12 and 1 yards. Tokay rushed for a team record of 576 yards on 43 attempts in 53-19 win.

224 - Robbie Dubois, Mission Viejo vs. El Toro on 20 carries. Scored two TDs to help keep the Diablos undefeated during the regular season. Mission Viejo won, 39-0.

218 - Daniel Teicheira, Sierra (Manteca) vs. Los Banos. Carried 29 times and scored four TDs in 41-20 win.

217 - Ulysses Dunn, Hoover (Fresno) vs. Fresno in 49-7 win. Also had five TDs from 24, 21, 29, 28 and 55 yards.

217 - Shawn Sopoaga, San Mateo vs. Burlingame in 37-19 loss. Carried 25 times and scored two TDs.

215 - Carlos Valdez, Tracy vs. West (Tracy) on 32 carries. Scored Tracy's first two TDs on runs of 4 and 29 yards in 34-28 win.

Passing Yards

444 - Sam Keller, San Ramon Valley (Danville) vs. Monte Vista (Danville). Completed 22-of-41 passes and threw for five TDs but San Ramon Valley lost, 38-34.

416 - Bryan Black, Orestimba (Newman) vs. Brookside Christian (Stockton). Connected on 22-of-34 passes. Also threw for six TDs in 49-20 win. Black passed for 2,554 yards this season for Orestimba, which did not qualify for the CIF Sac-Joaquin Section playoffs.

358 - David Vieira, Tulare vs. Monache (Porterville) in 28-21 overtime loss. Completed 22 of 35 passes and had three TDs.

338 - J.C. Lewis, Las Lomas (Walnut Creek) vs. Miramonte (Orinda) in 48-41 loss. Also connected on 23-of-34 passes and threw for three TDs.

327 - Brandon O'Bannon, Jefferson (Daly City) vs. Menlo School (Atherton). Completed 17-of-28 passes and had three TDs in 32-27 victory.

327 - Cary Dove, Taft (Woodland Hills) vs, Granada Hills. Completed 19 of 34 attempts in 41-29 win. Also threw four touchdown passes.

303 - Justin Turner, Pacifica (Garden Grove) vs. Los Amigos (Fountain Valley). Completed 16-of-27 passes and had two TD passes from 55 and 72 yards. Two fourth quarter interceptions thrown by Turner helped Los Amigos defeat Pacifica, 45-35.

TD Passes

6 - Bryan Black, Orestimba (Newman) vs. Brookside Christian (Stockton). Completed 22-of-34 passes in 49-20 win.

5 - Sam Keller, San Ramon Valley (Danville) vs. Monte Vista (Danville). Also completed 22-of-41 passes for 444 yards but San Ramon Valley lost, 38-34.

5 - Justin Wyatt, Dominguez (Compton) vs. Lynwood. The senior threw a career-high five TDs in 47-20 win.


6 TDs - Donnie McCleskey, Bishop Amat (La Puente) vs. Alemany (Mission Hills). Also rushed for 277 yards on only nine carries to help Bishop Amat crush Alemany and clinch the league title with 62-7 win.

5 TDs - Jody Adewale, Roosevelt (Los Angeles) vs. Garfield (Los Angeles). Scored all five of Roosevelt's TDs in 35-22 victory at the East L.A. Classic. Adewale scored on runs of 9, 3, 2, 1 and 26 yards. The game drew a crowd of just more than 20,000.

5 TDs - Justin Belcher, Lincoln (Stockton) vs. St. Mary's (Stockton) in 54-24 win. Belcher caught four TD passes from 9, 16, 75 and 21 yards. Also had a 27 yard interception return for a TD.

5 TDs - Stephen Bradley, Berean Christian (Walnut Creek) vs. Calif. School for the Deaf (Berkeley). Also rushed for 297 yards on 24 carries. Berean Christian won easily, 56-6.

5 TDs - Gabe Camacho, Trona vs. Lucerne Valley in 35-22 win. Scored all five of his team's TDs and had 247 yards rushing on 28 carries.

5 TDs - Omar Dittu, Flintridge Prep (La Canada) vs. Webb (Claremont). Rushed for 124 yards and four of his five TDs at halftime. Dittu finished with 194 yards and team won, 41-7, to clinch a playoff spot.
