RB/OLB Making Waves for Next Year

Andre Harris is expected to be one of the top players in California next year. He has been tearing it up for Palisades Charter this fall and is already receiving mail from powerhouses around the nation. Here is an early look at his skills and list of schools.

Height: 6-1
Weight: 210

Bench: 250 (5 reps of 10)
Squat: 350 (5 reps of 10)

In his first game this fall, Harris only played defense and had a 99-yard interception return for a touchdown. In his next two games, he only played offense and had 27 carries for 337 yards and two touchdowns. "People underestimate my speed because I am so big," said Harris. "I can play on either side of the ball. It does not matter to me."

Harris is already receiving letters from Clemson. "Notre Dame, Michigan, and Cal are my early top three. I also like Florida State and Alabama."

He attended two camps over the summer. The Beyond 2000 camp in Thousand Oaks and the UCLA camp. "I like UCLA and always have. That is where I want to go but I haven't heard much from them, yet. I grew up watching them play. I like that they are in California and are a top school athletically and academically."

Harris carries a 2.5 core GPA and has not taken either test.
