2. Fairfax (Los Angeles) 15-2

Won Iolani Prep Classic in Hawaii over nationally-ranked Montrose Christian and lost in close game to Westchester.

3. Fremont (Los Angeles) 13-1

Darren Brown MVP as Pathfinders won second division of Nike National Invitational in San Diego.

4. Santa Margarita (Rancho SM) 16-1

Eagles have a big win over Fairfax, but then turned around and lost to Carlsbad.

5. Centennial (Compton) 13-0

Darius Sanders and Gabriel Prewitt starred as Apaches won Modesto Christian tourney.

6. Inglewood 11-2

Went 2-1 at Slam Dunk to the Beach tourney in Delaware.

7. Clovis West (Fresno) 13-2

Lost to Garfield of Seattle and to Fairfax, both among top 15 in the West by Student Sports.

8. Eisenhower (Rialto) 13-2

Downed Modesto Christian last Saturday at the California Challenge.

9. Poly (Long Beach) 11-2

Won tourney in Utah and lost in Modesto Christian tourney final to Centennial.

10. Mater Dei (Santa Ana) 13-4

Whipped 14-1 Villa Park last Saturday, 70-50, and have avenged earlier loss to Centennial of Corona.

11. Technical (Oakland) 13-3

Lost to LB Poly in one tourney semifinals and lost twice at another tourney in Florida.

12. Muir (Pasadena) 15-0

Some think Mustangs should be ahead of Centennial of Compton in CIFSS Div. III rankings.

13. Riordan (San Francisco) 14-1

Top-ranked team in Central Coast Section by SJ Mercury News.

14. Sacred Heart Cathedral (San Francisco) 15-0

Irish have won three tourneys and will battle Riordan for WCAL title.

15. Centennial (Corona) 11-2

Earlier win against Mater Dei earns the Huskies a top 20 slot.

16. Crenshaw (Los Angeles) 11-4

Cougars' forgetting about early season and could go on roll after downing De La Salle last Saturday.

17. De La Salle (Concord) 8-3

Spartans won own tourney and lost twice at Nike Academy Invitational Tourney in Houston.

18. Horizon (San Diego) 12-3

Hard to believe rout last weekend of Carlsbad pushed Horizon to No. 1 in the San Diego Section.

19. Glendora 13-1

Tartans have split with Claremont and won a tourney in Washington.

20. Carlsbad 15-3

Biggest wins over Santa Margarita and Torrey Pines and lost close one to Mater Dei. What happened against Horizon?
