California has climbed to the top of the EBAL standings and gained value points with a 2-1 win over former Top 25 Amador Valley on Saturday.

3 Santa Margarita Catholic (Rancho SM, Calif.) 11-1-3 4
The top-ranked team in the Los Angeles area will be tested again this week with another match against Mater Dei, which it tied last week.

4 Capistrano Valley (Mission Viejo, Calif.) 7-0-1 1
Capistrano Valley was knocked from the No. 1 ranking with a loss to San Clemente. CV remains ranked high due to a schedule that includes six current or recent FAB 50 opponents in the team's next eight matches, including another match with San Clemente.
