Girls Div. III -- Santana (Santee) 77, Kearny 68; University City 55, Mission Bay 51. Note: All four teams were in this week's Div. III state rankings and highest-ranked squad won both games. Jaime Ransom had 30 points for Santana.

Boys Div. III -- Riordan (SF) 66, Santa Cruz 58; Sacred Heart Cathedral (SF) 57, Soquel 48. SHC won 40-38 in WCAL playoffs over Riordan, but Crusaders won twice earlier in the season.

Boys Div. IV -- Monte Vista Christian 63, Hillsdale (San Mateo) 53; Valley Christian (San Jose) 74, Half Moon Bay 62. Note: Whoever wins between VC and MVC should be seeded No. 1 in northern regional playoffs.

Girls Div. II -- Pinewood 51, Notre Dame (Belmont) 30; Aragon (San Mateo) 53, Soquel 51. Note: Pinewood took control with 15-4 second quarter.

Div. III Boys -- Kennedy (Richmond) 60, Las Lomas (Walnut Creek) 54; Piner 58, Alhambra (Martinez) 48; Acalanes (Lafayette) 73, Mt. Diablo (Concord) 60; Del Norte (Crescent City) 45, Miramonte 38. The Kennedy game was a first-rounder. All others were second-round. Kennedy will play its second round game on Thursday.
