Carlos Palafox: Stats: 1501 yards on 168 carries and 7 TDs, 12 receptions for 210 yards and 1 TD and 73 tackles Honors: 2004 All-District RB, 2004 All-League RB, 2004 All-League LB and 2004 Team MVP.
PrepCA: What is your official height and weight?
Carlos: 5'11" 185 lbs.
PrepCA: What is your greatest football memory?
Carlos: Playing in the playoffs in 2003 against
PrepCA: What are your goals for the upcoming season?
Carlos: Central California Conference championship and playing at UOP for the Section Championship.
PrepCA: How are you preparing for the upcoming season? Will you attend any camps this summer?
Carlos: I am working on my speed and lifting weights. I will attend Fresno State Skills Camp, Nike Combine, Cal Combine and Oregon Combine.
PrepCA: What aspect of your game have you really worked hard to improve? What area would you like to keep improving on?
Carlos: Pass Coverage, Knowledge of the game.
PrepCA: Who are some of your teammates that people need to watch out for?
Carlos: Frankie Tovar (RB/LB), Chris Ertmod (OL/DL), Zack Baker (OL/DL), Ramal Reed (RB/DB), Keith Pace (RB/CB) and Chris Knapp (OL/DL).
PrepCA: Name one teammate you really respect and why?
Carlos: James Oliver, nobody works harder and is more serious about the game than him.
PrepCA: What are your goals regarding playing football in college?
Carlos: Play DI football as a Defensive Back. Have a significant role on the team.
PrepCA: Who is currently recruiting you? Do you have any offers yet?
PrepCA: Would you consider staying in state to play in college?
PrepCA: What would your top 5 college choices be?
PrepCA: Who is the best player you ever played against? Why?
Carlos: Mike Hurst,
PrepCA: Name one opponent who you really respect and why?
Carlos: Colin Kaepernick (QB Pitman HS), he puts in the time and hard work to be a great quarterback.
PrepCA: What other sports do you play?
Carlos: I played basketball and ran track in the past, but now it's all about football.
PrepCA: What are your best lifts in the bench, squat, power clean and 40?
Carlos: Bench 255 lbs, squat 415 lbs, power clean 205 lbs and 4.55 40.
PrepCA: How do you think your coach would describe you as a player?
Carlos: Hard worker never quits, very smart football player on both offense and defense.
PrepCA: Who is your favorite athlete and why?
Carlos: Barry Sanders, his attitude toward football and life sets a great example for everybody.
PrepCA: What is the best piece of advice you have ever received?
Carlos: Don't waste your talent and always work harder than your opponent.
PrepCA: Tell us what can we expect from your team this season?
Carlos: Majority of starters from last season were juniors. If we play to our potential we could challenge for the section championship.
PrepCA: What position do you think you will play in college?
Carlos: Defensive Back.
PrepCA: What can a college program expect from you as a player?
Carlos: Hardworker, very dedicated and a team player.
