Who Will Be California's Mr. Basketball for 2002?

It's time to get the ball rolling for the annual Cal-Hi Sports all-state boys basketball teams. We've been choosing all-state teams for more than 15 years and our State Player of the Year lists go back to the turn of the century. Topping our package of 2002 postseason honors for California will be the naming of our first Mr. Basketball. We start the process by listing 101 official nominees from around the state. Keep checking this list as it will be updated.

California Mr. Basketball 2002 Nominees List

All of the below were chosen for their performances during the 2002 season, some for completing outstanding careers, others for being top players on top teams. We will accept additional nominees from our readers and web site users. We also encourage any comments about which of these outstanding players should be Mr. Basketball, which should be all-state and which should be players of the year for the various CIF enrollment divisions.

Don't wait until the last moment to let us know about someone we may have missed. For each nomination, be sure to include any comparison stats to other players, overall stats and contact information so we can reach you to ask any follow up questions. Send all nominations and comments to: mark@studentsports.com or call (209) 463-9050.
