Recruiting Update: Jeff Miller

Extensive Travel Plans for Westlake DE/TE

Jeff Miller of Westlake Village California (Westlake H.S.) is traveling the western United States on a series of unofficial visits.  The 6'6 250 pound Miller wants to get a feel for various campuses in an attempt to make a decision on which school to attend.  Miller would like to make his college commitment previous to the start of football so he can focus on Westlake's upcoming season.  Currently, Miller is visiting the northwest and has made and will make stops at Oregon State, Oregon, Washington and Washington State.  He will follow up next week with visits to Oklahoma and ASU.

Miller recorded 60 tackles last season and 14 sacks.  With his size, and speed in the 4.7-4.8 range, most schools are looking at him as a defensive end.  Academically, Miller carries a 3.0 GPA in college prep courses.  Last season, Miller's Westlake team went 5-5 but with the help Warrior teammates including 1,500 yard rusher Jeff Rapoport Westlake hopes to rebound with a strong season.
