Recruiting Update: Lonyae Miller

Kaiser RB Talks About Fresno State

Recently PrepCA had the chance to check in with Lonyae Miller and talk about his signing with Fresno State.  The 5'11 210 pound running back had a monster season for Kaiser as he rushed for nearly 2,600 yards leading the Cats to a 10-3 record and a playoff birth.

PrepCA: What schools offered you a scholarship?

Lonyae Miller: Oregon State, UTEP, Nevada, Colorado State and Fresno State.

PrepCA: Why did you pick Fresno State over these other schools?

Lonyae Miller: Once I was there and met the players and coach Hill I knew it was a wonderful place, plus I have relatives up there.

PrepCA: Tell us about Coach Hill

Lonyae Miller: Coach Hill is a wonderful guy. He is down to earth and straightforward

PrepCA: What will you bring to the Fresno State program?

Lonyae Miller: I will have to wait and see but with my work ethic I can bring determination.  I'm always competing so I can bring my competitive spirit to the program.

PrepCA: What will you need to work on in your game to prepare for the college game?

Lonyae Miller:  Everything, my footwork, speed balance all aspects of my game.  The college game is much quicker.

PrepCA: What will you study at Fresno State?

Lonyae Miller: I'm undecided but I'm thinking about the engineering program

PrepCA would like to thank Lonyae, his father and Kaiser coach Dick Bruich for helping us this past season.
