Hanford RB Headed to Michigan

Horn had offers from Washington and Washington State, Oregon and Oregon State, Nebraska, and Fresno State.

GoBlueWolverine has just confirmed Michigan verbal commitment number 13:

Running back Avery Horn from Hanford High in California.

The speedster told GBW, " "I talked to Coach Carrr on Thursday morning, and I commited! I picked Michigan because it's a great school with a great football program. "

Horn made a sudden preseason decision because, "I wanted to get my decision out of the way; I got tired of the pressure."

He also had offers from Washington and Washington State, Oregon and Oregon State, Nebraska, and Fresno State.

Horn had a hugh year last year scoring 24 total touchdowns and rushing for over 1,800 yards. As a junior, he set the school record for the longest kick off return for a touchdown at 99.5 yards.

Horn has blazing speed and timed in at 10.5 in the 100m as a junior.
