What were your stats from last season?
Coleman: 12 points, 7 assists
What is your official height and weight?
Coleman: 6.2.5, 178
What is your greatest basketball memory?
What are your goals for the upcoming season?
Coleman: Become a better leader, average 12+ points and 10 assists. 4A
What aspect of your game have you really worked hard to improve? What area would
you like to keep improving on?
Coleman: Worked on improving my strength and my shooting. I need to continue shooting 200+ shots a day.
Who are some of your teammates that people need to watch out for?
Coleman: Corey Myers, Cole Townsend, Caleb Richardson, Niko Sachs
Name one teammate you really respect and why?
Coleman: Cole Townsend because he works extremely hard on his game every day even though he doesn't get the hype that the others on the team get. He is going to surprise some people this year.
What are your goals regarding playing basketball in college?
Coleman: Play at a Mid to High D1 basketball program.
Would you consider staying in state to play in college?
What would your top 5 college choices be? Do you have any offers yet?
Coleman: No offers. I really like
Who is the best player you ever played against? Why?
Coleman: Brandon Jennings. He is the number one player in the country for 2008. He is not the biggest or the strongest but he is the best. We had some good games when I played for the Arizona Stars and he played for
Name one opponent who you really respect and why?
Coleman: Travis Payton. Even though we compete to see who the top PG is for 2008, I respect him as a teammate and an opponent. He leaves it on the court every time. I got a chance to play with him on the Arizona Magic and we had a good time running together.
What Club Basketball team do you play for in the Spring and Summer?
How do you think your coach would describe you as a player?
Coleman: He would describe me as a pass first player who can lead a team well.
CR: What are your strengths and weaknesses as a player?
Coleman: My strengths are my size, ball handling skills, court vision and heart on defense. One of my weaknesses right now is consistency in shooting the ball.
Who is your favorite athlete and why?
Coleman: My favorite athlete is Kevin Johnson. He was my favorite to watch when I was younger. My first YMCA number was 7.
What is the best piece of advice you have ever received?
Coleman: The price of success is hard, very hard work.
Tell us what can we expect from your team this season?
Coleman: More consistency and a state championship.
What position do you think you will play in college?
Coleman: PG and some 2G.
What can a college program expect from you as a player?
Coleman: Dedication to the program. Good student-athlete. I will continue to improve every year.
What will the main factors be when you choose a school?
Coleman: Academics, Good coaching staff and good conference.
