Hot News:
Poway, California lineman prospect Nick Wood made an official visit to Boston College in September.  The 6'-2", 275-pound defensive lineman flew up to Boston to watch the Eagles beat BYU in a double-overtime matinee special and went back to the west coast with BC firmly entrenched in his top-three.

"Yeah, I'm definitely interested [in BC]," Wood said. "It was a great game to go to. We saw the game, had a campus tour, ate with the coaches, and just kind of hung out with the players that night. The next morning it was just more meetings with coaches and whatnot and meeting with some academic people…and a lot of eating all the way through [the visit]."

Wood checked out Arizona State last weekend and says Washington is up next. There is still another school he'd like to visit, but hasn't yet decided which one that will be. Once he's made his final two visits, though, he'll be ready to decide. If Wood can get his visits in, he won't even wait until the end of his senior season to unveil a decision.

El Capitan, which rallied from a 28-7 halftime deficit to edge Santa Fe Christian 35-34 on Saturday, is has a 5-0 record  for the first time since 1973

Steele Canyon junior running back Jamie Dale rushed for 264 yards on 25 carries in a 33-17 win over Hilltop.   He breaks the Cougars school record of 240 (on 35 carries) set by J.D. Lucas against Mount Miguel in 2003.
