Warzeka ran for 194 yards and Pesaniello ran for 130 as their team fell to Chaparral 35-28.

 

Javier Macias - Fontana Kaiser

Kicked an 18-yard field goal with 10 seconds left as his team defeated Riverside Norte Vista 24-21.

 

Khallid Muhammed - Los Angeles Westchester

Caught four passes for 114 yards and one score, including a 22-yard scoring pass from Isaiah Barton (84 yards rushing) with two seconds to play as his team defeated Palisades 27-21.

 

Michael Aguilar, Scott Torres - Los Angeles Garfield

Aguilar ran for 179 yards and three scores and Torres ran for 169 yards and one score as their team defeated rival L.A. Roosevelt 35-13.

 

Chike Amajoyi, Brandon Windel - San Bernardino Aquinas

Amajoyi ran for 219 yards and four scores and Windel threw for two scores to Jake Henley in a 40-0 win over Murrieta Calvary Chapel.

 

Jonathan Hackett, Keith Goins - Bloomington

Hackett ran for 152 yards and two scores and Goins ran for 151 yards and three scores as Bloomington defeated Rubidoux 50-28.

 

Anthony Brown, James Gonzales - Alhambra

Bowrn ran for 165 yards and two scores in a 47-0 win over Mark Keppel. Brown threw for 117 yards and two scores.

 

Manny Denton - Brentwood

Ran for 215 yards and three scores in a 28-13 win over Whittier Christian.

Garbutt-Romero ran for 112 yards and two scores and Grissom passed for 98 yards and two scores and returned an interception 30 yards for a score as the Knights defeated crosstown rival Eisenhower for the first time in school history, after losing 11 consecutive times to the Eagles.

Baier ran for 87 yards and three scores and Kohorst passes for 114 yards and two scores in a 50-7 win over San Pedro Mary Star of the Sea.

 

Tyler Vanderzee - Ontario Christian

Passed for 124 yards and two scores in the first half in a 50-0 win over Redlands Arrowhead Christian Academy.

 

David Biddle - Compton Dominguez

Ran for 150 yards and a score in a 19-14 win over Warren.

Ran for 202 yards and three scores in a 27-20 win over Gahr.

Miller passed for 142 yards and two scores, Camacho ran for 138 yards and two scores, Kahn ran for 118 yards and Cartwright returned an interception 85 yards for a score in a 49-28 win over El Toro.

Ran for 178 yards and a score in his team's 17-14 win over Los Alamitos.

Clauson passed for 168 yards and four scores and Tyler ran for 133 yards and one score in a 41-10 win over Nordhoff.

 

Ahmed Mokhtar - Santa Ana Mater Dei

Ran for 152 yards and two scores in a 28-22 overtime win against Servite before 20,000 at Angel Stadium.

 

James Fleming - Montclair Prep

Ran for 248 yards and had 83 receiving yards, 165 yards on kick returns and 62 yards on a punt return in an 88-74 win over Lone Pine.

 

Lavelle Peterson - La Canada

Ran for a school-record 375 yards on 12 carries and scored six touchdowns in a 49-7 win over Pasadena Blair.

 

Armando Ortiz - Norwalk

Scored the game-winning touchdown on a 3-yard run in overtime to lift his team past Long Beach Wilson 20-17.

 

Mike MacGillivray - Concord De La Salle

Passed for 218 yards and two scores and ran for a 44-yard score in a 35-14 win over Danville Monte Vista. De La Salle is 9-0 and ranked No. 1 in the nation.

 

Josh Mendonca, Jordan Johnson - Foothill

Johnson caught a 4-yard scoring pass from Mendonca as Foothill rallied to defeat San Ramon Valley.

 

Tiuke Tuipulotu - San Mateo Serra

Rushed for 158 yards and three scores as his team defeated San Jose Archbishop Mitty 28-13. Serra clinched at least a share of the West Catholic Athletic League championship, the Padres' second title in five years under coach Patrick Walsh.

 

Ryan Brown - San Francisco St. Ignatius

Ran for 63 yards and a score in 17 carries as the Wildcats defeated Mountain View St. Francis 10-6. St. Ignatius can tie Serra for the WCAL title with a win next week against San Jose Bellarmine. A co-title would be the Wildcats' first championship of any kind since Dan Fouts led them to the league title in 1967.

 

Usua Amanam, Mitchell Knauf - San Jose Bellarmine

Amanam returned the opening kickoff 97 yards for a score and Knauf rushed for 91 yards and four scores as the Bells defeated San Francisco Riordan 39-27.

 

Andre Dixon - Menlo

Threw for 385 yards as his team defeated Belmont Carlmont 51-41.

 

Cannon Bernarding - Westmont

Completed 25 of 31 passes for 290 yards and two scores in his team's 14-14 tie with Del Mar.

 

Craig Hertler - Branham

Ran for 236 yards and two scores in 26 carries as his team defeated Independence 34-27.

Ran for 111 yards and two scores in a 19-7 win over Cupertino.

 

Lance Gemette, Ricky Battipede - Leland

Gemette caught a 5-yard pass from Battipede as Leland defeated Evergreen Valley 7-3.

 

Jeremy Eseroma, Kendall Hendon - Prospect

Eseroma ran for 70 yards and a score and Kendall caught six passes for 89 yards and two scores in a 35-0 win over Yerba Buena.

 

Robbie Hunter - Franklin

Ran for 304 yards and four scores in a 59-14 win over Bear Creek.

 

Alex McCarthy - Piedmont Hills

Caught three scoring passes and intercepted a pass and returned it for a score in a 34-7 win over Leigh.

 

Tim Cavanaugh, Jo Jo Anaya - Sobrato

Cavanaugh and Anaya each had an interception to lead their team to a 33-6 win over James Lick.

 

Timmy Celestine, Justin Evans - Tracy

Celestine gained 100 on 10 carries and Evans gained 127 yards and scored three times on 14 carries as their team defeated Lodi 35-26.

 

Andre Patterson - Manteca

Ran for two scores as his team defeated Central Valley 57-0 to clinch at least a share of the Valley Oak League title.

 

Marco Garces - Willow Glen

Ran for 151 yards and four scores as his team defeated San Jose High Academy 35-7.

 

Justice Patterson, Antoine Briggs - Wilcox

Ran for 137 yards and three scores as their team defeated Monta Vista 35-14.

 

Danijel Dukic - Santa Clara

Kicked a game-winning 42-yard field goal with 11 seconds left as his team defeated Homestead 23-22.

 

Jason Martin - Soledad Harker School

Had 12 tackles as his team defeated Soledad 7-0.

 

 

Tri Vo, Tyler Ortiz-Garden Grove Pacifica

Vo ran for 4 TD's and 185 yards. Ortiz totaled 100 all-purpose yards, including a 35 yard punt return in 48-7 cakewalk over Anaheim Katella, setting up Empire League championship showdown with La Palma Kennedy on Thursday.

 

Mike Hull, Jordan Yocum, Chris Langstaff-Anaheim Canyon

Hull rambled for 100 yards on 19 carries and TD. Yocum ran for 95 yards, 21 carries. Langstaff picked off pass in final minute, preserving a 13-7 win against Tustin to help improve Canyon to 3-1 in Century League (8-1, overall), almost assuring Canyon a playoff birth.

 

Javes Lewis, Michael Clemmons-Tustin

Lewis rushed for 159 yards, 15 carries with 80-yard TD. Clemmons added 19 carries and 100 yards in 13-7 loss to Canyon. Tustin can throw Century League in turmoil with win at El Dorado on Thursday in regular season finale.

 

Menke Menke-Garden Grove Los Amigos

Led Lobos as it breezed through Garden Grove La Quinta 42-8, tallying 140 yards on 18 carries with 3 TD's and caught 3 passes for 50 yards. Los Amigos improves to 3-1 in Empire League (4-5 overall) and could make surprising entry into playoffs.

 

D.J. Lepper, Cody Waldron, Asa Hawks-Costa Mesa

Lepper ran for 144 yards and game-winning TD. Waldron threw for 140 yards and 2 TD's. Hawks caught 6 passes for 100 yards and 2 TD's in leading Costa Mesa to 21-14 win over Calvery Chapel/Santa Ana, as the Mustangs take on Orange Coast League leading Laguna Beach on Thursday.

 

George Perdickez, Matt Contreras, Victor Torres-Anaheim

Perdickez scored on 2 fumbles and ran for another. Contreras caught 5 passes for 94 yards, 2 TD's. Torres returned both a punt and kickoff for 70-yard scores as the Colonists walloped Santa Ana Valley 56-28.

 

Mark Thomas, Aaron Strazicich-Anaheim Savanna

Thomas ran for 170 yards on 17 carries, with 2 TD's rushing and one TD pass reception, totaling 82 yards receiving. Stazicich hurled 2 TD passes and ran for another, was 8-of-11 for 179 yards, no INT's, as Savanna continues late season Orange League surge with playoff-clinching 45-21 win against Anaheim Magnolia.

Workhorse carried 32 times for 263 yards, TD, in 45-21 loss to Anaheim Savanna.

 

Rishard Matthews-Santa Ana Saddleback

University of Oregon recruit had 80-yard TD punt return, along with TD run and TD reception, as Roadrunners move one game away from clinching Golden West League title after storming past Santa Ana Segerstrom 35-19.

 

Phillip Van Holland, Michael Coulter, Matt Cardenas-Valencia El Dorado

Holland continues to gather touchdowns by getting 3 more on 12 carries for 78 yards. Coulter was 13-of-20 for 280 yards, 3 TD's, 0 INT's. Cardenas pulled down 5 passes for 111 yards, 2 TD's as Hawks improve to 4-0 in Century League (8-1 overall) in convincing 49-0 win over Orange El Modena. Can clinch league championship with win against Tustin on Thursday.

 

Mike Vanderipe-Cypress

Junior backup QB led Cypress to upset 10-6 win over Valencia by throwing 75-yard TD pass to Anthony Jackson for deciding score, breaking 2-game Centurion losing streak and rekindling playoff hopes. Cypress improves to 2-2 Empire League and 7-2 overall.

Rushed for 138 yards and TD, including 75-yard scoring run, in 10-6 loss to Cypress.

Eddie Lark-Anaheim Western

Slender senior running back came out of no where for the Pioneers to log a career night with 4 TD's and 150 yards rushing in 62-7 win against Santa Ana Century, putting Western in position to capture Orange League title in season finale against Anaheim Savanna on Friday.

 

Stephen Gabbard-Huntington Beach

Ran for 300 yards and 3 TD's giving him 29 TD's this season, helping Huntington Beach to 35-21 win over Irvine Woodbridge in Sea View League action.
