Taylor Rohde, 6-9 JR P
With a great frame, and good feet and hands, Rohde has the potential to be an elite prospect. He can play facing the basket and wants to be able to utilize his natural talent to shoot the ball.
Rohde has increased his strength and bulked up over the last 6 months. He can finish in traffic and has the spring to keep the ball alive on the offensive glass. An array of post moves makes him hard to guard, even against bigger more athletic defenders.
He has great hands, and gets to the ball quick.
Defensively he has a presence inside the paint and alters shots. He gets a hand on interior passes and his anticipation going to the ball makes him more dominating on the defensive end.
He needs increased foot speed and lateral quickness, which will make him more effective at the next level. Another year of athletic development and a summer in the weight room makes him one of the top inside-out West Coast prospects in 2008.
