Several key players are beginning to trim their lists and set up official visits in the recruiting circles out West...

Fresno (Calif.) Edison cornerback Robert Golden, who committed to Arizona in the spring, is setting up official visits to other schools, and this weekend, Golden will be in Eugene to visit Oregon for their huge Pac-10 matchup with Cal.

Golden said he's also planning to visit Washington State, Oregon State, UCLA and Arizona.

San Marcos (Calif.) Mission Hills defensive end Jamaar Jarrett has been laying low in his recruitment, but announced this week that he too has narrowed his list.

Jarrett trimmed it to four schools: Michigan, Oregon, Nebraska and California.

He plans to set up official visits to each of the four schools following his SAT's, which he'll take on October 6th.

Long Beach (Calif.) Poly safety Vaughn Telemaque finally got the offer he was waiting for.

The rising safety received a call on Wednesday from the hometown USC Trojans, who offered him, his second offer from the Pac-10.

Michigan still leads for Telemaque, but USC is right in the mix along with North Carolina and Rutgers, as well as Oregon.

Corona (Calif.) Centennial running back Ryan Bass is having a monster year on the field, and off of it, he's adding more offers.

Bass said that Fresno State became the most recent school to offer him, and they lead with Arizona State. He was scheduled to visit Ole Miss and Minnesota, but is changing those visits to later in the fall.
