Play of the Week: It came during a 26-8 win by the 76ers over Westmont of Campbell.

What head coach Joe Cattolico Says: "He made obviously a real good play and made a lot of people miss. He's got good ability and his biggest strength is his versatility."

About Alesana: He's a senior who also plays basketball and baseball. The 6-0, 191-pounder is a second-year varsity player. He has five brothers and one sister and was born in San Jose.

What Did You Think of the Play: "It was fun. Everyone blocked real good on that play. Last year, though, we had a better one than that."

Favorite Sport: "I actually like baseball best. You get to play more games and as a shortstop there's a lot of action because the ball is hit to you a lot."

College Plans: "Nothing yet. Might go to Foothill or San Jose City."

Favorite Subject: English.
