Fellner Adds Third Pac-10 Offer

Fresno (Calif.) Clovis West RB/S Nathan Fellner continues to add offers. A few weeks back Washington became his third offer, and second from the Pac-10. Thursday morning Washington State threw its hat into the ring for Fellner's services. The two-way standout is being recruited as a running back and safety.

Nathan Fellner (6-0, 200) is one of the top athletes in the West. The two-way standout now holds four offers, three from the prestigious Pac-10 conference.

Stanford was first to offer him as a running back in February. San Diego State and Washington followed in the spring and summer with offers as a safety. Washington State became his fourth offer – as a safety – Thursday morning.

"I've been trying to call [Offensive Coordinator] Coach [Todd] Sturdy," said Fellner. "I received an [email] message to call the head coach. I called Coach [Paul] Wulff this morning, and he offered me."

Fellner says he is excited about the offer. He puts the Cougars among his top seven schools with Stanford, Washington, California, UCLA, Arizona State, and San Diego State. He has maintained since the start of his recruitment that the Cardinal are his favorite, but he remains open on his recruitment.

Academically, Fellner has 3.8 GPA. He scored 1530 on his SAT, and he is currently awaiting the results on his most recent attempt to improve his score.
