California 2010 Preseason Rankings: WRs

The nation's premier wide receiver, Robert Woods from Gardena Serra, leads the receiver rankings for California for the class of 2010...

The 2010 class of receivers in the West is deep, and extremely talented, from the big-play ability of Woods and Stills, the toughness of Baxter and Scott, the speed of Carter and Dunn to the all-around ability of Richardson, Kearse, Jefferson and Harper.  Here are the top receivers in the West. 

1. Robert Woods, Gardena (Calif.) Serra- USC
The complete package at receiver, Woods is the top playmaker in the country.

2. Kenny Stills, Encinitas (Calif.) La Costa Canyon
Explosive and dangerous with the ball in his hands, Stills was the MVP of the Los Angeles Combine

3. Dillon Baxter, San Diego (Calif.) Mission Bay- USC
Has been doing it on a big stage since his freshman year, and can play anywhere.

4. Paul Richardson, Gardena (Calif.) Serra
May have the best pure pass-catching ability of anyone in the West.

5. Kenneth Scott, Ontario (Calif.) Colony- Utah
Won't wow you with his speed but he's tough, aggressive and will catch the ball.

6. Anthony Jefferson, Los Angeles (Calif.) Cathedral
A gifted two-way player, could play on either side of the ball in college.

7. Tevin Carter, Los Angeles (Calif.) Santee- Cal
One of the fastest football players in the West, Carter had a huge junior season and an even bigger track season.

8. Josh Harper, Stockton (Calif.) St. Mary's- Cal
An all-state pick as a junior, Harper could just as elite at safety, but will play receiver in college.

9. Davon Dunn, San Diego (Calif.) Lincoln- Cal
Smaller slot receiver, but can fly with the ball in his hands.

10. Austin Hill, Corona (Calif.) Roosevelt
The top receiver in the Inland Empire
