The 2009 CIF State Football Championship Bowl Games presented by Farmers schedule is set, having been announced by the CIF State Office this afternoon.

The five games highlight the culmination of football in the Golden State this year, the fourth season of the CIF State Football Championship Bowl Games.

All five games will be televised in California (schedule below) and played at the Home Depot Center in Carson.

The marquee game on the schedule is on Saturday night at 8 p.m., in the fifth and final game of the weekend, the Open Division title clash between perennial powerhouse Concord De La Salle, the champions of the CIF North Coast Section Division I, making their fourth appearance in Carson, against CIF Los Angeles City Section D-I champions Los Angeles Crenshaw, making their first trip to the Home Depot Center and becoming the first City Section team selected.

On Friday night at 8 p.m., the Division I matchup features 2007 state champion Oceanside, champions of the CIF-San Diego Section D-II against first-time participant San Jose Bellarmine Prep, champions of the CIF Central Coast Section Open Division.

Saturday afternoon at 4 p.m., the Division II clash matches up Anaheim Servite, the champions of the CIF-Southern Section Pac-5 Division, in their first visit to the Home Depot Center against CIF-SacJoaquin D-II Champions Rocklin.

On Saturday at noon, the Division III title game boasts Gardena Serra, the winners of the CIF-Southern Section Northwest Division, making their first trip to the State Bowl Game against Kentfield Marin Catholic, champions of the CIF-North Coast Section Division III, also making their maiden voyage.

The first game of the weekend will be on Friday at 4 p.m., when San Diego Francis Parker, champs of the CIF-San Diego Section Division V, face fellow first time participant Modesto Christian, winners of the CIF-SacJoaquin Section Division IV.

The Southern Section (Servite and Serra), North Coast Section (De La Salle and Marin Catholic), SacJoaquin Section (Rocklin and Modesto Catholic) and San Diego Section (Oceanside and Francis Parker) each are sending two teams to Carson while the City Section (Crenshaw) and Central Coast Section (Bellarmine Prep) are sending one apiece.
