2010 Quarterback Combine Athletes Shine

The Quarterback Combine kicks off the 2010 season...

On Sunday, January 10,2010 The Quarterback Combine kicked off its off season training with over 120 participants.

Head Quarterbacks Coach Jio Lucci put forth over 75 Quarterbacks in a simulation of drills, high impact 7 on 7 and game scenario situations to challenge his QB's. The response was overwhelming and the event was filled with wide receivers from all over Southern California also participating.

The Quarterback Combine showcased the best High School quarterbacks, wide receivers and running backs in Southern California.

Poly, Westlake, Harvard Westlake, Notre Dame, Santa Monica, Beverly Hills, Serra, Oaks Christian, Mayfair, St Paul, West Adams, Foothill, Coronado, Lakewood, Culver City, Los Alamitos just to name a few, all the Quarterbacks were training.

Coach Lucci and his staff of over 15 Coaches are impeccable. The Lineman Combine is exclusively coached by Super Bowl 18 Champion from The Oakland Raiders Greg Townsend. Also installed this year is Super Bowl Champion Toi Cook, Defensive Back for The San Francisco 49ers and 11 years with The New Orleans Saints, who also coaches the athletes.

Sundays event kicked off with a 7 on 7 Open Game where Coach Cooks defense went against the high powered offense of Coach Jio Lucci. Several quarterbacks in rotation set up for a very high energy 7 on 7. "The day went excellent, all the athletes were training hard and my quarterbacks were throwing the ball extremely well coming off a long season. They know they are there to work hard and compete. That is exactly what they did".
