The top 100 college prospects from the Golden State in the class of 2010 is led by Ronald Powell...

The top player in California has jumped around from Chris Martin to Robert Woods to Ronald Powell. After an incredible performance in the U.S. Army All-American Bowl, it is defensive end Powell who stands at the top in the final California Top 100, but there are some elite ball-carriers right behind him.

"While the nation's premier defensive player, Ronald Powell, calls the Golden State home, this year was the year of the running back," said Brandon Huffman, West regional manager for "Eight running backs from California are in the Scout 300 and three are in the top 50, the powerful Malcolm Jones, the versatile Brennan Clay and the productive Dillon Baxter. There's not been a deeper and more talented year in the state in the backfield since the class of 1998, that featured Justin Fargas and DeShaun Foster." California Top 100
