2010 Super State Offense

Here is the PrepColorado Super State Offense for the 2010 season.

Cyler Miles 6-3 210 Mullen JR

Smooth and wise beyond his years are my descriptors for Miles. He threw only two interceptions this season as a junior. Next year, as the primary focus of the Mustang O, watch Miles put up monster numbers.

Others Considered: Brock Berglund, Sean Rubalcaba, Jaleel Awini

Running Back

Chris Ashe 6-2 190 Widefield SR

This big back rushed for over 2,100 yards when every team he faced knew he was Widefield's offense. When I recently talked to a college coach about Ashe the coach said in Yogi Berra style, "that kid is a man."

Connor Medberry 6-2 245 Loveland SR

Similar to Ashe everybody set up their defense to stop Medberry and nobody could do it. Also was one of the state's best linebackers. A true football player!

Others Considered: Adonis Ameen-Moore, Dan Geubelle, Cameron McDondle

Dominic Rufran 6-0 175 Palmer SR

I don't care how or against who, get the ball in Rufran's hands and let him make plays.

Rayshon Williams 6-1 185 Mullen SR

Returner, receiver, runner Williams did it all this year just as he has throughout his career. Also progressed as a more polished receiver.

Derek Vander Velde 6-4 200 Dakota Ridge SR

Vander Velde is the epitome of the big receiver who can make catches in traffic.

Others Considered: Will Ratterman, Ian Imamura

Offensive Line

Justin Hansen 6-5 285 Longmont SR

Became a man this year and dominated on both sides of the ball.

Brendon Austin 6-6 275 Chaparral SR

The whole package; big, athletic and equally adept as a run and pass blocker.

Paul Thurston 6-4 265 Arvada West JR

Technically very sound, with the ability to get after people at the second and third level of the field. As he gets stronger this offseason watch out!

Justin Godfrey 6-4 250 Erie SR

Also a top defender, he was been a key component to a very good Erie run game the past two years.

Austin Traphagen 6-6 280 Yuma SR

Small ball stud has big time potential and may yet play his best football at the next level.

Others Considered: Marc Mustoe, Shane Callahan, Mark Mancinelli, Sam Carslon, Joey Tyo, Patrick Smith, Josh Perrin
