There is no shortage of talent at Valor Christian High School in Highlands Ranch, Colorado as evidenced by back to back state titles. There is also no shortage of DI offers to go along with that talent. The most recent Valor player to garner multiple offers is defensive end Michael Mann. The 6-4 225 pounder confirms to PrepColorado that he has received an offer from Colorado State to go along with his earlier offer from Arizona State.
Along with Arizona State and Colorado State, Mann says he is getting interest from San Diego State, UNLV, Oregon, Stanford, Utah, Air Force, Michigan and Tennessee. Ivy League schools are also contacting the student athlete.
At the next level Mann feels he brings, "pressure off the edge, the ability to rush the passer and good technique." As a student Mann says he is a," honest, hardworking, dedicated student athlete with the desire to succeed."
Mann, who registered five sacks last season, was a mainstay of a Valor D that allowed fewer than 10 points a game last season. At the next level schools are looking a Mann as a rush defensive end, who could also work as a linebacker.
