Phenoms Week 7

Three 2013 RBs went over the 300 yard mark highlighting an exciting week of Colorado high school football.

Christian McCaffrey had five first half TDs as he caught three TD passes and ran for two others as Valor took it to Castle View 55-9.

Treamon Edwards of Bear Creek busted multiple long runs going for 166 yards on eight carries as his Bears defeated Chatfield 52-20. Edwards was helped in the win by three TD passes from Sean Flanagan.

As a runner or kicker, Dylan Carter of Pomona had a hand in most of his Panther's points in a 48-14 win over Fairview.

Cheyenne Mountain remained unbeaten as quarterback Bret Helton threw for six TDs in win over Pueblo West.

Senior QB Colt Palmer had another strong dual threat game leading his Canon City squad to a 23-21 win over Lewis-Palmer. With the win Canon City remains unbeaten.

Junior Max Kuhns was super efficient in a 46-0 win over Douglas County hitting on 10 of 13 for 176 yards and two scores.

Rifle junior Ryan Moeller continued his record breaking season Friday night as he rushed for 321 yards and four scores in a win. Moeller was not the only 2013 back to hit or go over the 300 mark. Phillip Lindsay of Denver South went over 300 in a win over Lincoln as did Rock Canyon's Eric Williams in a loss to Ponderosa. In an attempt to counter Williams, Ponderosa junior back Corry Williams Jr. rushed for 211 yards and four scores helping his team put up 51 points in the win. This is Williams' second game in as many weeks in which he has rushed for 211 yards.
