OT Stays Local

Three-star OT Isaac Miller makes his college commitment

FoxSportsNext has confirmed that three-star OT Isaac Miller has ended his recruitment.

Miller, from Longmont (CO) Silver Creek HS, says via text message, "I have committed to Colorado."

Miller (6-7 250) picks the Buffs over offers from Washington State, Wyoming, Northern Colorado and New Mexico State.

Miller is the first known commitment in CU's 2014 class.

Miller comments, "There is definitely something to be said for them being my first offer, so obviously they saw my talent from the beginning. Along with that, I think being that they are close to home, it will be an easier transition and allow me to be successful."

Miller's high school head coach Mike Apodaca comments on Isaac, "First of all, he's a good student and a high character young man. CU is getting a kid that is just starting to come into himself and has huge upside. Isaac will be a student of the game and be very coachable. I also think being a local kid that he will bring a lot of pride top the program."
