Solid Night for Hill

With a strong outing last night, Boulder Fairview QB shows he is ready for a great senior campaign and deserving of increased college attention.

Last season, after coming back from an injury, Fairview QB Anders Hill pushed the Knights' offense at a clip of nearly 300 pass yards a game while hitting on 56% of his passes. Now healthy and with a full crew of receivers including All-Stater Sam Martin, Hill is ready to lead his squad, pick up victories and gain recruiting attention.

Last night in Fairview's opener Hill punished the Poudre Impalas throwing for 268 yards and four scores as the Knights won 57-8. Hill made sure to keep Martin happy hitting him ten times including two touchdowns, but most impressive was Hill's ability to spread the wealth finding seven receivers as part of 20 completions.

The 6-4 Hill who has college size, possess a college arm and an Ivy League brain currently holds two offers with Montana and Harvard on board. There is little doubt that if he had played an entire junior season filled with Madden like stats Hill's offer sheet would be longer. Now with a full season in front of him and a cadre of returning receivers there is little doubt Hill will gain more offers throughout the year. Vanderbilt and Colorado State have shown some interest and Hill, a Colorado fan, would like to get a look from the Buffs.
