Growing Interest for Cain

2014 Heritage lineman Connor Cain continues to gain interest from multiple programs.

Currently holding offers from Montana and Northern Colorado, 2014 Heritage High School lineman Connor Cain of Littleton, Colorado has, since the start of season, seen his recruiting profile increase. The experienced and talented two way lineman is hearing weekly from Wyoming, South Dakota State, Drake and CSU-Pueblo. Along with these schools Cain has started to hear more consistently from Eastern Washington and Indiana State.

Standing 6-4 and tipping the scales at 252 pounds, Cain is an active defender who can hold the line as a defensive tackle or get penetration as a defensive end. Projecting to the college level Cain looks capable of playing defensive end in both a 4-3 and 3-4 front. Surprisingly athletic for his size, Cain could, if asked, play up in certain situations without sacrificing too much in coverage. Cain is in the process of setting up unofficial visits and hopes soon to visit Northern Colorado, Montana and Wyoming.

Cain and his Heritage Eagles are 1-1 and this week face their toughest challenge of the season as they play Colorado 5A juggernaut Valor Christian. Playing against the Valor offensive line, which boast multiple players with DI offers, will be a great test for Cain and his very young Heritage squad.
