Big games continue for some of Colorado's top performers

Ethan Marks Five TDs in win over Montbello pushing his Monarch squad to 5-1 on the season. Marks and squad should get a #1 seed in 4A playoffs if they can win the final three games of the season.

Chris Marquez rushed for 263 yards and three scores as Pomona defeated Ralston Valley 42-30. This is Marquez' third game over 260 yards for the season, helping the Panthers peak as playoffs approach.

Christian McCaffrey scored five times early in a dominating 42-6 win over Doherty. The big game gives McCaffrey 20 touchdowns this season, 13 rushing and seven on receptions.

Junior Jamil Bond of Lutheran had over 230 rushing and six touchdowns on 12 carries as Lutheran defeated Arvada 65-14.

Senior Levi Hottinger had his best game of the season rushing for 269 yards as his Akron squad won against Sedgwick County 54-50.

Mesa Ridge senior running back Tremell Stanley rushed for five touchdowns on the way to 230 rush yards as Mesa Ridge defeated Cheyenne Mountain 42-6. The big game pushed Stanley over the 1,000 yard mark for the season.

Senior Tanner Matoba rushed for 223 yards and three scores as Front Range Christian defeated Nederland 47-0.

6-4 junior receiver Donovan Oldham had seven catches and a score for his Rampart squad in a 24-0 win against Liberty.

Cameron Washington of Jefferson had five TDs, three passes and two runs in a 54-21 win over Estes Park

Receiver Mark Hopper of ThunderRidge had six receptions and two scores in a big win over Douglas County this weekend. Hopper averaged over 25 yards per reception.

Junior QB Tommy Lazzaro threw six touchdown passes in a dominating win over Sand Creek this week as his Pine Creek squad put up 70 points. Pine Creek is on a four game win streak after a tough early season stretch against Lakewood and Columbine.
