Lineman Awaits New Offer

Already holdng one offer, 2014 Pomona lineman Kendall Ryan hopes new offers will come soon.

Currently the Pomona Panthers are 6-2 and should, with a win this week against Arvada West, end up in the top half of the 5A playoff bracket and make some noise.

One of the key components to Pomona's success is the play of 2014 offensive lineman Kendall Ryan. The 6-4 300 pound guard is a cog in a run game that is both physical and productive. Eight games in, the Panthers have rushed for over 2,200 yards with senior running back Chris Marquez putting up big numbers each week behind Kendall and his line mates.

Kendall is a big kid with solid athleticism and the ability to finish blocks when he gets his hands on defenders. At the next level he his best suited to play guard or potentially right tackle.

Holding a Northern Colorado offer, Kendall's game has not one unnoticed and he is gaining ever increasing FCS attention. South Dakota State and Eastern Washington have both been in contact. Also, mid-majors San Jose State and Colorado State have been in contact. Kendall has strong grades and elicited early Ivy League attention. Continued play at his current level should see more offers come the way of the tenacious Pomona lineman.
