Cain Flips to Mountain West

2014 DE Connor Cain flips his commit to Mountain West program.

Despite an earlier commitment to FCS power Eastern Washington, Heritage defensive end Connor Cain of Heritage High in Littleton, Colorado has made the decision to attend the Universtiy of Wyoming.

Citing a strong relationship with Cowboy defensive line coach Pete Kaligis, Cain opted to make the switch to the Cowboys. Along with the relationship with Kaligis, his future position coach, Cain is excited to be a part of the new Wyoming program under the direction of Head Coach Craig Bohl who has guided North Dakota State to multiple FCS titles.

The 6-4 255 pound Cain is an active player who is strong at the point of attack, but also has the athleticism to rush the passer or drop into coverage if necessary.
