Per his twitter account and confirmed by multiple sources, 2015 Regis offensive lineman Tim Lynott has picked up his third DI offer. First was Colorado, followed by Colorado State and now the Oregon Ducks are on board.
The 6-4 290 Lynott was a key piece of a Regis Jesuit squad that went 9-2 this season on the strength of one of Colorado's top ground attacks. Running behind Lynott and his linemates, Regis backs compiled over 3,100 yards averaging six yards a carry.
Lynott, who plays right tackle for Regis, is a nasty run blocker who manhandles opponents when he gets his hands on them. Lynott has an explosive first step and moves well when pulling. His athleticism is further evidenced by his ability to get to backers and finish blocks. Although currently a tackle, Lynott's skill set seems suited to a move inside as guard is his most likely college position.
With three offers early in 2014 and national power Oregon on his list, expect Lynott to be in the double digits soon.
