Recruiting News and Notes

Quick takes on Colorado's top football prospects from the class of 2015.

Chukwuma Obinnah reports he will visit Princeton and is also gaining attention from USC and Notre Dame.

One of the most impressive highlights I have seen lately is of 2015 Denver East safety Jalen Moore. The 6-0 185 pound defender is all over the field making plays against the run, pass and as a blitzer off the edge. Moore is a physical tackler, has good instincts and closes fast with bad intentions. Moore has made a visit to Wyoming and is gaining interest from other mid major programs.

DJ Luke has started to get early contact with Colorado reaching out. The 2015 Cherry Creek RB is a load at 5-11 220. Last season Luke averaged nearly seven yards a carry and scoring seven times. Coupled with Milo Hall, Luke is the thunder to Hall's lightning in a duo that will that will be tough to defend next season.

2015 Pomona QB Justin Roberts will put his game on display this May at the Dallas Elite 11 Quarterback Camp. Last season Pomona's offense was run early, run often so Roberts had limited opportunities to show his skills. In Big D Roberts can get his name out there.

Multi-sport athlete Jordan Willis just helped his Denver East squad win a state title in basketball and is now competing in track for his school. He is also focused on football, prepping with a 7on7 squad and hitting the weights hard to put 10 to 15 good pounds on his 6-5 frame. The hard work is starting to pay off for this versatile receiver as Willis reports new contact from Utah State and Washington.
