Hitter Picks Up 1st Offer

2015 Denver East safety Jalen Moore gets the first of what should be multiple offers.

Hard hitting 2015 Denver East safety Jalen Moore is reporting he has gained his first offer from South Dakota State.  At 6-1 185 pounds and  unafraid to mix it up in the box, Moore has the frame and disposition to be a very good college strong safety.

In June South Dakota State has been very active regarding Colorado athletes.  Earlier this month Moore's friend and  Denver East teammate Wesley Ogsbury picked up a SDSU offer and yesterday Chatfield defensive Matt Gaiter reported a Jackrabbit offer as well.

Lining up in multiple spots for the Denver East, Moore had his hand in all kinds of defensive plays.  Of his 74 tackles last season five were for losses.  Moore also had four interceptions and four passes defended.

Last week, Moore camped with Kansas State and said he was able to speak with defensive coordinator Tom Hayes.  According to Moore the Wildcats' "like the way he plays and his toughness."  If his schedule permits Moore hopes to camp at San Diego State, Wyoming, Oregon State before summer is over.  Also, now holding the South Dakota State offer, Moore as well as Ogsbury, plan on hitting camp with the Jackrabbits at the end of this month.

Moore, whose physical and active style of play has gained him interest from multiple programs from across the country will, most likely, add to his offer sheet this summer.
