Recruiting News and Notes

Colorado's top players continue to gain attention and offers.

As stated numerous times Wyoming has hit Colorado hard mining for talent.  The current Cowboy m.o. is versatile speed.  Last week Wyoming offered Cherry Creek's Milo Hall and Joseph Parker, both multitalented offensive playmakers.  This week Wyoming offered Ralston Valley athlete Andrew Wingard.  Wingard, a three sport standout, is one of Colorado's fastest football players and a playmaker in every aspect of the game.

2015 Pomona QB Justin Roberts has been busy.  Roberts had a strong camp at the University of North Dakota. At Wyoming, Roberts did a personal work out with Cowboy OC Brent Vigen.  Monday, Roberts will camp at South Dakota State followed by a one day camp in late July at North Dakota State.

2015 Grandview running back Chuk Obinnah, who holds an offer from Northern Colorado, reports he is hearing most consistently from Arizona, Colorado State, Colorado, Wyoming and Kansas State. 

Chaparral QB Cole Lehman, who recently competed at Broncos 7 on 7, is now camping at Notre Dame.  Lehman hopes to hit camp at the University of Colorado before the end of the summer.

2015 Chatfield quarterback Kyle Winkler will camp starting this weekend at Cornell and Princeton.  Winkler says he is also hearing from New Mexico State and Lehigh.

2015 Cherry Creek running back D.J. Luke, one of Colorado's most interesting recruits, reports he is hearing most consistently from Washburn, Northern Colorado and North Carolina State.  Luke has also been invited to the National Underclassman Top Elite Combine.

2016 Denver East quarterback Deron Harrel played in Florida at the IMS 7 on 7 with his Colorado Connect squad.  Harrel held his own against top athletes showing a strong arm throughout.
