The class of 2017 is shaping up to be one of the better classes that Colorado has seen over the past few years.  Familiar names and high profile programs highlight the list. This is not a ranking but numerous of these players have already started to gain significant recruiting attention.


Dylan McCaffrey 6-3 185 Valor Christian QB

Long athletic kid who already holds early offer from Colorado.


Marcus McElroy 6-0 180 Mullen RB

Very mature runner for his age; patient with sneaky speed. McElroy is also a very good receiver out of the backfield.


Jovan Tafoya 5-11 165 Mullen QB

Tafoya has good skill players to work with and will get numerous chances to throw the ball in Mullen Head Coach Tom Thenell’s offense.


Corte Tapia 6-2 215 Windsor DE

Great motor, leverage and hands for a young player.


Tanner Toussaint 6-0 250 Pine Creek C

You have to be a run blocker to play for Pine Creek.


Justin Engresser 6-2 160 Colorado Spring Christian QB

The young QB threw for over 1,000 yards last season completing 64% of his passes.
