Colorado’s Top RBs

A talented group of athletes highlight Colorado's top running backs.

1.Milo Hall 5-8 185 Cherry Creek

Hall will have a huge senior season.  The more film I watch the more I like the Bruin back; great quickness, balance and surprising strength.  Further, Hall is  a very good receiver that is gaining looks as a slot.

2.Andrew Wingard 6-0 180 Ralston Valley

Much like Hall, Wingard can do it all.  Potentially the fastest back in the state, Wingard is a big play waiting to happen

3. Chukwuma Obinnah  6-0 210 Grandview

This power back has great speed and the ability to go long on every touch.

4.Marcus McElroy (2017) 6-0 185 Mullen

McElroy is a very savvy back for a young player. He is patient and willing to set up blocks.  This is an athlete to watch over the next three seasons.

5.Mike Rocha 5-11 215 Montrose

Rocha is a battering ram with surprising speed.  The 215 pound back can pop a seam and get to the end zone.

6.Cameron Smith 6-0 190 Cherokee Trail

Smith is no nonsense, runs through arm tackles and always gets positive yards.

7.D.J. Luke 5-11 220 Cherry Creek

Built low to the ground, Luke is very powerful but surprisingly quick.  Cherry Creek may need two footballs for Hall and Luke.

8. Trevonte Tasco 5-9 240 Denver South

At 235 on a 5’9 frame, Tasco is a load and tough to bring down.

9.Jerrel Nettles 5-11 235 Montbello

Another power back who relishes contact.  Trying to tackle him is a life changing experience.

10.Drue Harris 5-11 220 Fountain-Fort Carson

Another big back with great wheels.  Colorado State and Wyoming like what they see in the RB/LB.
