There is never a shortage of talent on the Valor Christian roster and each year the Eagles see their players’ transition to the next level.
This year one of the most talented yet under recruited players on the Valor squad is tight end Sebastian Sock. The 6-5 225 pound tight end is a big target, who runs fluid routes and can catch in traffic. Further, Sock is versatile and athletic enough to line up in multiple spots. Most impressive is Sock’s effectiveness as a blocker close to the line of scrimmage.
Finally schools are paying attention and Sock has received his first offer as FCS school, the University of San Diego, is now on board. Sock reports to PrepColorado that the offer came while on an unofficial visit to USD.
Sock, a very strong student and President of the Valor student body is getting significant interest from Ivy and Patriot League schools. Of the Ivy schools Yale is showing the most interest. Sock is also hearing from Northern Colorado, Wyoming and North Dakota.
