Ogsbury Goes Ivy

2015 Denver East athlete Wesley Ogsbury will play in Ivy League.

With the season now deep into playoffs, more and more of Colorado’s best are making their college verbals.  Already this week Izaiah Lottie and Tony Bello made commits to New Mexico State.   Wesley Ogsbury of Denver East, a talented WR/DB, is reporting he will play his college football at Harvard.

Offensively Ogsbury had over 1,500 yards averaging 11 yards a carry and 20 yards per reception.  On defense Ogsbury had an All-State caliber season with six interceptions and four passes defended.

Ogsbury also had offers from Yale and South Dakota State.  At Harvard Ogsbury says he will play defensive back, most likely corner.  Regarding the academic opportunities at Harvard Ogsbury says, “I realized it is all about life after football, so I would not go anywhere else.”  Ogsbury, who has a 4.2 GPA, brings an athletic and academic presence to the Crimson.
