Few players in the state of Colorado had a stronger season than 2015 Lutheran High School receiver Josh Clausen. Clausen assaulted the record book averaging over 20 yards a catch while making nineteen touchdown catches for his 10-1 squad. At 6-4 200 pounds Clausen has great size and surprising speed.
With his combination of production and size, Clausen has gained from multiple programs and is staying patient regarding his college decision. Currently both of Clausen’s offers are in state with Northern Colorado and DII power CSU-Pueblo on board. Clausen is also hearing from Wyoming and is “waiting to see what Wyoming does in the next couple of months.”
Clausen visited Wyoming for a game a few weeks ago and was in Pueblo this past weekend as the ThuderWolves defeated New Mexico Highlands. Clausen wants to visit Northern Colorado, Wyoming and CSU-Pueblo in the next few week. The receiver is taking his time and staying patient stating, “I’m just kind of seeing how everything plays out for right now.” Staying true to his time frame Clausen plans on making his college decision sometime in February.
